Bee Letter Writer Lambasts Foxification of Media

Great job per usual Alan!!!

Recently, a caller asked on Sean Hannity's talk-radio show if John McCain would escape media scrutiny if he had associations similar to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, implying Barack Obama has escaped scrutiny.

Hannity flatly said "no" -- another Hannitization lie. How much hay was made of Sen. McCain's embracement of John Hagee, Pat Robertson and the late Jerry Falwell? Has this been talked about ad nauseam by Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, Tucker Carlson and mainstream media?

Here is a sample of Rev. Hagee's statements. He denounced the Roman Catholic Church as "the great whore of Babylon" and "a cult." He blames it for the Holocaust and predicts its imminent demise. He said "This is the apostate church. ... this false religious system is going to be totally devoured by the anti-Christ." Why didn't the "liberal media" crucify Sen. McCain as they did Sen. Obama? What about Sen. McCain's free pass as a flip-flopping hypocrite? He denounced Falwell and Robertson in 2000 and now embraces them. He is against torture, but voted against the ban on waterboarding. He rails against special interests, but his campaign manager and top advisers are lobbyists. C'mon, Fox. Where is the fairness and balance?
