Edwards Tags Bush as Delusional

John Edwards, my current favorite for our next president, correctly describes Bush as out of touch with what is going on in Iraq. Its just too bad that the delusions of this crackpot result in so many people dying day in and day out!

Speaking to reporters in the newly opened White House briefing room, Bush defended his war strategy and continued to conflate the war in Iraq with the terror attacks that brought down the World Trade Center.

"The same folks that are bombing innocent people in Iraq were the ones who attacked us in America on September the 11th," Bush said.

Edwards said that assertion ignores recent history, and the fact that there was no relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda prior to US troops invading.

"It must be nice to live in a world where your actions have no consequences," he said. "There was no group called Al Qaeda in Iraq before the president's disastrous mismanagement of the war gave them a foothold, a fact the president flagrantly ignores."

Yup, he's completely gone after his surge benchmarks were completely ignored by the country we're occupying. Thus the scare tactics of blaming every act of violence on al Quida. Someone somewhere said it was like blaming every murder nowadays on O.J. Simpson. They're losing and can't keep up the defense. They're trying to keep the Pat Tilman investigation from learning when the Bushits knew friendly fire killed him. Executive privilege for the truth about dead soldiers? He has no shame.
